Happy New Year! We hope you are as optimistic as LoanLogics is about the year to come and all the potential mortgage quality automation can bring for a prosperous new year!
To celebrate the holiday season as 2020 came to a close, we posted our list of resolutions for mortgage lenders, servicers and investors to ensure 2021 is met with success. We also ran a holiday sweater contest with some familiar faces at LoanLogics. This ugly battle had a pretty special element. The winner could not only claim bragging rights but also a $500 donation to their charity of choice.
After the nearly two-week voting period, the results are in and they’re ugly!
Our big winner was, Justin Brindisi, marketing’s creative director, who was rocking “baby Jesus” both literally and figuratively. This festive favorite took home the contest donation for the Brain Trauma Foundation.
Justin said of the win for his charity, “I chose this because someone very special to me deals with a traumatic brain injury and I see the struggles and hurdles that have affected them due to the injury day in and day out.” He continued, “I would like to bring more awareness and a larger effort, with more science and options, to helping those affected by this sort of trauma. These types of injuries usually cannot be seen on the outside, but that does not make them any less debilitating than ones you can see.
We sure had fun with this contest this year, spreading cheer and charitable goodwill. We hope you did too. It was also a great way to kick off our philanthropic efforts in the new year.
Before we close, we’d be remiss not to mention our most popular blog post in 2020. Not surprisingly, a post on TRID, “TRID The Good, The Bad, and The Future,” was at the top of the charts again. At the end of 2019 two other posts on TRID made our most read list.
