Through the years and across the world March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day, has become synonymous with all things Irish rather than solely a celebration of Saint Patrick, the principal patron saint of Ireland. While I’m only part Irish, I like many around the world, become “a lot” Irish and take part in the some of the holiday’s countless festive traditions today. A pint of Guinness, a virtual competitive Irish dancing performance, wearing green, cake for a birthday(!!!), remembering past trips to the Cliffs of Moher, and a traditional meal of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots with a side of Irish soda bread are just a few of the ways my LoanLogics colleagues and I are planning on taking part in St. Patrick’s Day celebrations this year.

One of the most recognizable symbols of the holiday is undoubtedly the shamrock. Some may be surprised to know that all the Irish luck we’ve come to believe in isn’t represented by the shamrock at all.  This three-leaf clover was said to be used by St. Patrick to explain the holy trinity in Christianity across Ireland, whereas its ‘second cousin,” the rarer four-leaf clover was the lucky one.  Its leaves are said to represent represents hope, faith, love and bring luck to the finder.

No matter the clover semantics, we thought for this week’s blog post, which falls on St. Patty’s Day, we’d celebrate by sharing our “green” (nascent) 2021 thoughts in each of the categories the four-leaf clover is set to represent.

Hope – As with much of the industry, LoanLogics had a busy 2020 filled with new product announcements and record volume, which we were recognized for by HousingWire earlier this month by taking home our 8th consecutive Tech 100 award.  To keep the momentum going we hope to fill a number of open positions in the company quickly.  Check them out here.

Back in January, we shared a blog which gave a behind the scenes look at what it’s like to work at LoanLogics. Stay tuned here on b-logics for future posts that continue to offer a deeper look into our company and culture.

Faith – Vaccines are rolling out and covid cases are trending downwards. As such, we have faith that later this year the mortgage industry will be able to return to in person conferences and events, Looking ahead, our teams intend to be physically present at the Western Secondary Conference, RMQA and MBA Annual later this year in August, September and October respectively.

Until then, we look forward to seeing you at some of the upcoming industry virtual conferences. MBA Spring is first on the docket next month. Plan to stop by our booth to check out some exciting product announcements and take our survey, you could win a $250 gift card for your response!

Love – We love our clients. Each day our account management team works passionately to keep our clients well informed and drive the best customer satisfaction possible. Our product management team takes your feedback which helps shape a technology roadmap that supports your needs and goals.

Some of our clients have felt the love and shared their testimonials about how well bringing QC in-house has worked for them using LoanHD® and how LoanLogics’ end-to-end correspondent investor solution brought more efficiency to loan acquisition for a long standing client of ours.

Luck – We are lucky at LoanLogics to have a team of hardworking associates supporting our extensive portfolio of technology and services. We’ve also been lucky enough to have some industry experts join our team, one very recently, to help us further drive mortgage innovations. As a team, we have had the good fortune of staying connected in the past year using webcams, messaging apps, meetings and good old fashioned phone calls until we open our headquarters once again.

Whether you’re Irish or only Irish for a day, we’re virtually sending a little proverbial luck your way.
