Grateful at LoanLogics

Though it may have been hard to see at times in 2020, there is a lot each of us can be thankful for in both our personal and professional lives. With Thanksgiving this week, November considered gratitude month and this year certainly one for the record books, we wanted to conjure up some good vibes in our post this week. And so, we asked five LoanLogics associates from across our organization to share what they are most grateful for this year. We share their responses below.

Craig Sylvester, VP Sales

“Thankful to be spending more quality time with my family and also that LoanLogics has continued to deliver outstanding results even with record volume.”

Paul Vancheri, EVP Technology

“Without a doubt the personal things I’m most thankful for at Thanksgiving are my family and for all of our health, particularly during the Pandemic.  It’s certainly taking a lot of effort to ensure everyone is safe, right down to new grandchildren, but the risks are real and they are serious.  None of us can let our guard down these days as the consequences are unpredictable and potentially far reaching.  So lucky me…everyone is healthy!  On a professional note, it’s great to work with all the people at LoanLogics as together we enjoy being in an industry that’s pretty resilient to the economic times we live in.  Said differently…it’s great to have a great job with people I like being around, even if virtually for the time being!!”

Lynne McLain, Account Manager

“I am grateful that our industry is one that is setting records for new loan volume despite the downturn of many businesses in 2020 and that LoanLogics has been able to not only do a great job keeping up but innovate with new technology that powers all that business for our clients.  Oh, and I am grateful for a new grandbaby expected in mid-2021!”

Mike Bixby, Director of Data Governance

“To me, Thanksgiving has always been a paradox.  Yes, I’m thankful for my family, health, being able to do what I love and get paid for it, but this year more than usual the holiday only highlights the devastating effects of COVID world-wide, the hurricanes that have hit the same Gulf states repeatedly and Central America. The list this year is endless and makes me feel guilty for being thankful. My way of dealing with this is enthusiastically supporting Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen (https://wck.org/), which is the most effective relief organization that I am aware of.”

Sharon Jackson, Technical Project Manager

It’s going to sound corny, but LoanLogics! The company has welcomed me with open arms since I joined in early March and made me feel part of the organization right away.  I’ve made some great friends and learned so many things at a time when “normal” life as we knew it has all but disappeared – it has really helped me keep my sanity!

From the whole LoanLogics Team to yours, wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
