Although a recent CFPB study may have shown that many home buyers do not shop for their mortgage, a recent lender survey reveals a little different story (Loans Online).
It seems, contrary to what CFPB says, many people would like the entire loan process to be more automated, with less need for personal contact with their lender. This is especially true when dealing with the new generation of home buyers, the Millennials.
This generation (19 to 35) wants to do just about everything online, at their convenience and on their timetable. This mind set is now rubbing off on those of prior generations as they become more and more comfortable in dealing on the Net.
Factor in the number of companies that now offer the ease and convenience of doing their business and communication online. We have online shopping sites, banking, travel, trading, and so on. There isn’t much you can’t do online. Yeah, even that!
It’s becoming an online world and if you don’t have the capability to do your business, or at least a large portion of it, online, you are in trouble. It’s time to start shopping online for the systems you need to conduct your business online. If you don’t, you may find yourself all alone standing at the dock as others sail away with your customers.
The game has definitely changed. It’s time to play different.
